Gerry Dillon, Director of Cordil Construction:

"McCarthy Keville O’Sullivan Ltd. handled a planning application for a neighborhood centre in Sligo town. This was an ambitious application with extremely high density incorporating 336 residential units on an 11-acre site. The application also included approximately 2,700 sq.m. of retail commercial, where buildings reached up to six stories.

McCarthy Keville O’Sullivan ensured that all the boxes required by Sligo County Council were ticked and the application went through and received a decision to grant from Sligo County Council within three months without any further information required.

This sort of result was completely unprecedented considering the nature and scale of the project.

Cordil Construction were extremely pleased with the outcome. McCarthy Keville O’Sullivan Ltd. have helped Cordil Construction to success with a number of other planning applications and have also been found both helpful and professional in providing advice for any situations which may arise.”

Padraic Rhatigan, JJ Rhatigan:

“Rhatigan Developments Limited have employed the services of McCarthy Keville O’Sullivan Ltd. for a number of years in relation to a number of projects we have been involved in. These projects include a Mixed Use Development at Moycullen, Co. Galway, a Mixed Use Development at Fr. Griffin Road, Galway and Housing Developments in Tuam, Co. Galway. McCarthy Keville O’Sullivan Ltd. were also involved with us on other projects, which for various reasons have not yet gone ahead.

In the current climate it is very difficult to ensure that all of the obstacles that are put in the way of a planning application are dealt with. We find McCarthy Keville O’Sullivan Ltd. extremely professional in working with other members of Design Teams and with the Local Authority Planners in coming up with pro-active professional solutions to any problems that may arise. In many cases they very pro-actively come up with additional opportunities which might not be evident to other members of the Design Team.
At all times we would have found them extremely professional to deal with and courteous in the manner in which they dealt with us and other members of the Design Team. This professionalism appears to be respected by other people whom they have to interact with in order to successfully bring projects through to completion. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this professional practice to others who may wish to use their services”.
