RTE 1’s environmental awareness show, ‘Eco Eye’ featured ‘The Living Farmland’ publication on the 10th of January 2012. The book was compiled and authored by McCarthy Keville O’Sullivan and published in 2008 by Rural Resource Development and Clare County Council, in association with the Clare IFA and Teagasc.
The show, presented by Duncan Stewart, focussed on sustainable and environmentally sensitive farming practices in the Burren and the West of Ireland and highlighted the book as providing practical guidelines for farmers in Co. Clare and the rest of the country.
