Úna Nealon recently joined McCarthy Keville O’Sullivan as an Assistant Ecologist. After gaining her B.Sc. in Environmental Science at NUIG, Úna worked as an environmental consultant in Kerry working on wind farm EIA and industrial EHS. In addition, she has held research roles in Tanzania and Madagascar and most recently, completed her PhD in bats and wind turbines at UCD and QUB. While her particular expertise lies in bat survey and monitoring, Úna also has experience in habitat mapping, non-volant mammal surveys and GIS mapping.
