Augustine (Gus) McCarthy is a professional planner with over 25 years of experience in both private practice and local authorities. Gus worked as a Senior Planner in both Galway County Council and Galway City Council prior to establishing his private practice in 2000.
Gus has experience in being an expert witness in legal & arbitration cases for several road schemes, extensive experience in preparation of all types of Development Plans, Local Area Plans, and planning masterplans. His is retained as planning advisor for development programmes of large organisations and has been the lead planning consultant a wide range of retail, commercial and residential projects throughout the Country.
