Dervla O’Dowd joined McCarthy Keville & O’Sullivan following completion of a first class honours degree in Environmental Science in NUI, Galway in 2005. Since joining McCarthyKOS she has co-ordinated Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA) and Appropriate Assessments and compiled sections of EISs for a variety of infrastructural and development projects. Dervla’s specialist areas include habitat mapping, GIS, botanical surveys, mammal surveys including bat surveys and freshwater surveys including Crayfish and Freshwater Pearl Mussel surveys.
